Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute believes that quality teacher education is the foundation of a progressive society. The journey began with the establishment of Genesis in 2001, with a vision to promote education, social service and community development. Carrying forward this vision, Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute was established in 2012 to provide quality teacher education and to prepare competent, compassionate and professionally skilled educators for the future.
Recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Institute offers D.El.Ed. and B.Ed. programmes with a learner-centred approach, innovative teaching practices and value-based education. Over the years, Edugate has earned a reputation for nurturing dedicated teachers who contribute meaningfully to society through knowledge, integrity and professional excellence.
Our campus provides a peaceful and inspiring learning environment supported by experienced faculty members, modern teaching resources and a culture of collaboration. Along with academic excellence, the institution encourages social awareness, cultural values, community service and environmental responsibility to prepare teachers for the challenges of the 21st century.

From President Desk
The journey started with the establishment of Genesis(S/IL/6175) of 2001, mother concern of Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute, with a view to help the poor & down-trodden of the society to donate blood for patients, books for poor students etc. Special thanks given to those who helped me like enzyme in this field. On its long journey, a number of voluntary activities have been done . In 2012 , Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute has been established with the recognition of NCTE , Govt. of India vide order No ERC/7-141.6.10/NCTE/D.El.Ed/2012/13883( ERCAPP/689 ) and affiliation of WBBPE, Govt. of West Bengal with an intake of 50 students of D.El.Ed course . Now intake of D.El.Ed is 100 and new B.Ed course has been started with 50 students with the recognition of NCTE order no.-F.R.213.6(i).119/ERCAPP4189/B.Ed./2016/46369 and affiliation of Vidyasagar University .
The result of the college in previous years is glorious, but the accidental death of Sanket Dutta, a D.El.Ed. student and Purna Chandra Sahoo , Accountant , mourned us deeply. The scenic beauty of the inside and outside of college campus is quite different from others and it attracts the students as well as the visitors at a great extent. The co-operation of students , guardians , local people , local administration , faculties and non-teaching staffs with the management makes the college environment adaptive for the students to enhance their social, cultural and environmental development for their future life . Again, thanks to all , to co-operate with us for the well being of the Institution.

Edugate Teachers’ Training Institute, established in 2012, has been dedicated to promoting quality teacher education and nurturing competent, responsible, and value-oriented educators. The institute offers B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programmes under the guidance of experienced faculty members and in accordance with the norms and regulations of the concerned authorities.
With modern infrastructure, a well-equipped library, advanced laboratories, and technology-based teaching methods, the institution strives to ensure the holistic development of its students. Our objective is not only to prepare skilled teachers but also to develop socially responsible individuals who will contribute significantly to the progress of society and the nation.
We remain committed to academic excellence, professional growth, and the development of ethical values among future educators.

জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত দ্বন্দ্বের সাথে যুক্ত; এই দ্বান্দ্বিক চিন্তা-ভাবনা হতাশার দিকে নয়, সাফল্যের লক্ষ্যে হওয়া উচিত। লক্ষ্য উপরের দিকে থাকলে লক্ষ্য পূরণের স্বপ্ন দেখি । সেই স্বপ্ন দেখা উচিত যা রাতের ঘুম কেড়ে নেয়। স্বপ্ন দেখা ভালো, তাকে বাস্তবায়ন করতে কঠোর শ্রম দিতে হয়; গভীর অধ্যবসায়ের পূর্ণতা দিব্যজ্ঞান লাভে সক্ষম।
কলমকে যারা হাতিয়ার হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে চাও তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলছি – উচ্চ লক্ষ্যের স্বপ্ন দেখো, তোমাদের স্বপ্নকে তোমাদের পরিচয় বানিয়ে তোলো। কঠোর পরিশ্রমকে তোমার সঙ্গী এবং আত্মবিশ্বাসকে তোমার শক্তিতে পরিণত করো – কারণ যে স্বপ্নগুলো আমাদের জাগিয়ে রাখে, সেগুলোই আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ পরিবর্তন করে।
একজন শিক্ষাপ্রেমী শিক্ষক যখন আদর্শ শিক্ষক গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে কর্তব্যরত, নব প্রজন্মের শিক্ষক যখন শিক্ষকতাকে জীবনের আদর্শ হিসেবে মনে করে তখনই শিক্ষাপ্রেমী শিক্ষক, শিক্ষাগুরুর মর্যাদা পায়।

The Library of Edugate College has successfully opened the Library OPAC system. It enables students and teachers to search for books online that are available in the library.
